Elaine Howard is the principal of Elaine Howard Consulting, LLC. Scott Vanden Bos is the project manager.
Elaine has worked on over 100 urban renewal projects over the last 18 years. In addition to the urban renewal experience under the services tab, Elaine has vast experience in both private and public sector development. Elaine’s prior experience as a private developer and as a project manager at the Portland Development Commission provides the background for excellent project management as well as the background for sound decison making when working with communities on developing their visions.
Scott Vanden Bos joined our staff in 2016. Scott has an accounting degree from Linfield College. He spent the four years prior to joining our firm developing tutoring material for medical school admissions testing and tutored potential medical students. He has perfected the skills of explaining complex material in understandable language, preparing reports and documents and making clear and informative public presentations. In addition, his accounting education provides him with skills in understanding the intricacies of urban renewal finance.
